    1992年，波蘭外國投資管理局（PAIZ）成立，並於2003年與波蘭信息局（PAI）合併組成波蘭信息和外國投資署（PAIiIZ），以協調波蘭作為吸引外資的目的地。2017年，該機構更名為波蘭投資和貿易局（PAIH），主要工作是招攬外商到波蘭投資並提供投資者各項必要的協助。
